Special Meeting of the Gove County Commissioners & Board of Health
The Gove County Commissioners will be having a special meeting May 28th, 2020 at the Gove County Health Department at 6:30 p.m. They are meeting is to discuss the COVID-19 issues to determine whether emergency declarations and other orders should be declared or ordered by the Board of Commissioners. At the same time they are meeting as the Board of Health to determine reopening plan and all other issues and orders necessary to be declared by them as the Board of Health.

The County Commissioners do not maintain typical office hours.
Instead, the commission meets for regularly scheduled meetings in the meeting room at the Gove County Offices building. These meetings are held at 8:15 a.m. every other Monday. If these days fall on a holiday the meeting will take place the following business day unless scheduled otherwise. All meetings are open to the public, but if you have business you wish to discuss with the Commission please contact the County Clerk at 785-938-2300 to schedule your topic on an upcoming agenda.
