The Appraiser’s mission is to discover, accurately list, and value all taxable property in the county in a equitable and fair manner. All information in the office, if allowed by law, is shared with the public in a friendly, courteous, and helpful manner.
The Road and Bridge department strives to effectively and efficiently maintain and improve Gove County’s roads, bridges, road signs, and drainage in order to provide quality transportation and public safety to the public.
Gove County Sheriff’s Office provides law enforcement for the entire county. Gove County Emergency Management is the designated disaster agency for the county with the responsibility for coordinating the mitigation of, preparedness for, response to, and recovery from disasters.
The Treasurer’s office, per statute, is responsible for the tax billing, collection, and distribution of tax monies for the state, county, cities, and all other taxing entities that levy ad valorem and/or special assessment taxes.
