What are Rescue Funds?
The American Rescue Plan is delivering direct relief to the American people and rescuing the American economy. Counties were provided with an allotted amount of funds, based on population, to be spent locally on qualifying projects. Gove county has currently received $256,006, with a second deposit expected to arrive in the Spring of 2022.
How is Gove County spending Rescue dollars?
The Gove County Commissioners are seeking input from the public in order to consider the needs of the Gove County and strategically create the budget for the Rescue funds. Organizations or businesses interested in Rescue funds should make a formal request by filling out the “Request for Funding Application” and submitting it to the Gove County Economic Development Director via e-mail at govecoed@ruraltel.net.
