ROAD CLOSURES

Gove County Road and Bridge Department will be removing off-system bridge #29 and replacing it with two culverts. 

The bridge is located on the Gove-Lane County Line with the road numbers in Gove County being County Road A and K23 Hwy.  From that intersection going West approximately three quarter of a mile to the second bridge located on County A the road will be barricaded and closed until it is completed. 

The bridge removal will begin on October 28, 2019 (weather permitting) and will take approximately 10 working days.  The road will be CLOSED to thru traffic!

County Road CC from County Road 12 (by Pioneer Feedlot) to County Road 18 (Campus Road) will be under construction beginning Tuesday, November 12 and continuing to approximately Friday, November 15 — weather permitting.

The K-23 spur bridge over I-70 at exit 95 has reopened as of June 13.

Traffic on westbound I-70 has shifted to a head-to-head configuration.

Gove County Road 62 under I-70 has been CLOSED as of April 4.

Traffic is being detoured on local routes with a 16-foot width restriction.

The eastbound rest area near Grainfield is also closed.
